Carol Ferrone (director and choreographer) is the director and a founding member of The Xavier Company.  Carol had directed many of its productions including An Advent Carol, Whom Shall I Send? and Like Winter Waiting.  Carol holds a PhD in speech pathology with a specialization in actors’ voices and an MA in stage direction from Columbia University.  Carol has presented her voice research at the Mozart Voice Symposium in Salzburg, Austria. 

Anthony Bartoli (Drummer) has performed with both The Xavier Company & Music Minister at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Manhattan for many years. He has also been a professional musician for over 45 years playing drums/percussion. Tony has performed live and in recording with numerous bands and ensembles over this period from which he has played a wide variety of styles of music (e.g. jazz, rock, classical, rhythm & blues, blues, country, plays, religious, Latin etc…) He has also written over 230 songs which are both published and copyrighted.

Nikki Casseri is thrilled to return this year as Mary in No Greater Love.  She has a BFA in musical theatre from the University of Buffalo.  Her recent credits include Judy in a1940s live radio show performance of  A Date with Judy, Mrs. Gould in Mrs. Gould Biography Series  and Lucy Hale in Booth! The Musical (Off-Broadway).  She’s an active member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA.  She was recently featured on HBOs Boardwalk Empire and the feature film Lola Versus. Thanks to Brandon, family, friends and God.  This performance is dedicated to her Grandmother who planted the seeds of song in her life.  “The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you” EPHESIANS 3:20


Gerard DeMan has been the musical director of the Xavier Company since 1995.  He is currently the Director of Sacred Music at the Church of St Mary in Rutherford, NJ.  He studied choral directing under Dr George Hansler and accompanying with Mrs. Marion Verse-James.  He is married to actress Lorraine Ford DeMan and has two children, Mary (currently on tour with Babes in Toyland) and John, a sophmore percussion major at Montclair State University. 

Elisa Fucich is thrilled to be joining The Xavier Company in No Greater Love.  She is very grateful to God for this opportunity and all the blessings in her life.  Many thanks to friends and family, most especially Mom and Dad for their unfailing love, faith, and support.  Elisa has a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she studied musical theater at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.  Past credits include ArtsPower's Laura Ingalls Wilder (Ma), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Maggie), Laundry and Bourbon (Elizabeth), A Funny Thing Happened...Forum (Domina), and Side Show. 


Linda Garrity is delighted to make her debut with The Xavier Company.  Ms. Garrity has performed with Dicapo Opera Theater, dell'arte Opera Ensemble, and New York Metro Vocal Arts Ensemble.  She is frequently a guest soloist with the West Islip Symphony.  Ms. Garrity sings at Church of the Ascension in Rockville Center and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lindenhurst, NY.


Kyle Jack was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently working on his MBA at Grand Canyon University. He is making his debut with the Xavier Company and his happy to be a part of this show. Some of his favorite credits include The Cowardly Lion: The Wizard of Oz Enlighten Theatrics (Won BroadwayWorld.com award for Best Featured Actor), Judas: Godspell Penn State, and Snoopy: Plaza Theatrics. He wants to thank his family and friends for their support. 

Marian Lizzio has appeared as an actress and dancer with the Xavier Company since 1988. She has performed in productions of No Greater Love, An Advent Carol, The Least Among You, Like Winter Waiting and at numerous special events. Marian has danced for over thirty years, and has had four knee surgeries, including a partial knee replacement. Thanks to God that it is still possible to dance!


Diane Meck is thankful for this opportunity to to share her passions for Jesus and performing! A recent NYC transplant, Diane has danced with ALMA NYC and sang at Don't Tell Mama. Other credits include: Todd Rosenlieb Dance Company, Donna Marsala in Tony n' Tina's Wedding, Swing in In the Heights. BFA Jazz Dance Performance, Musical Theatre Minor (The University of the Arts). Thanks to my husband!


Elijah Noll is a recent graduate of AMDA and is ecstatic to make his New York stage debut.Elijah has played Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Lamar in Godspell, and Charles Condomine in Blithe Spirit.  He would like to thank the cast, Gerry, and Carol for their hard work and continued awesomeness. 


Rhonda Denise Reid has been a member of the Xavier Company for 28 years and has performed in No Greater Love, An Advent Carol and Whom Shall I Send.  Rhonda is a former member of the secondary Alvin Ailey Dance Company and she is trained in opera.  Rhonda has given many solo concerts in the tri-state area and internationally in Belize.  Rhonda’s glorious voice can be heard ministering to people at the Xavier Company’s quarterly healing mass.

Brandon Schraml is proud to be making his debut with the Xavier Company, where he proudly combines his loves of Christianity and theatre.  He has been seen Off-Broadway (27 Heaven), on four national tours (including Ring of Fire first national) and in numerous regional theaters.  Brandon's pursuits also cover film, voiceovers, and commercials.  He would like thank his Lord and Savior for all of the blessings bestowed upon him.

Janeen Stevens
 (Playwright) has appeared in many Xavier Company productions as well as numerous Off-Off Broadway showcase productions.  She was a member of the Second Story Players when the group received an Obie award in 1967 for superior production standards.  Janeen toured the Asian Pacific rim in a U.S.O. tour of Little Mary Sunshine and was a member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Dance Company for two seasons.  Janeen studied playwriting with Ed Wilson and Shirley Lauro at Hunter College (CUNY) where she received her MA degree in theatre.  She also studied with Richard Beebe at the Roundabout Theater Conservatory.  Her play, Barcinda Forest, was produced in the spring of 2008 and raised $2426. for various environmental groups. Christopher Tefft (Judas / John) has performed with the Xavier Company since 2012, and directed 2013's production of "An Advent Carol".  He most recently performed at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in "A Wonderful Life" and "Midlife 2: The Crisis Continues". In New York, Chris has appeared at Carnegie Hall. St. Patricks Cathedral, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Theatre, Gershwin Hotel, Stage 72 (Triad), Secret Theatre, Little Times Square Theatre, and the Federal Reserve Bank. He has toured with various choral ensembles throughout Ireland, Germany, Belgium, and France in Europe and all over the US. Visit my website www.christophertefft.net.

Kara Vertucci, classically trained in voice at the University of North Texas, is thankful to God to be making her debut with the Xavier Company.  Favorite opera and musical theater roles include Mary in Like Winter Waiting, Dorabella in Mozart'sCosi Fan Tutte, Erste Knabe in Mozart's The Magic Flute, and Prima Cercatrice in Puccini's Suor Angelica.  Ms. Vertucci can also be seen in upcoming performances of Rhapsody in Gershwin with Hofstra Gray Wig Theater and as Sister Sophia inThe Sound of Music.  Recently featured as the soprano soloist in Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Ms. Vertucci is also an active sacred music singer who has sung at numerous churches in NYC and is a regular cantor at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst.
